We understand that attrition and role may change, contributing to the final product seen on the court. Mistakes AND successes are seen as opportunities to improve as well as strive for consistency. Partner evaluations ensure that officials are held to consistent standards. They help identify strengths and areas for improvement, foster professional growth, and maintain the integrity of the game. Honest evaluations build trust among crew members, ensuring everyone is aligned in responsibility and expectation. 

The EBBOA prides itself on the intense classroom and on-court training. Tracking performance allows us to promote and encourage:

We work to standardize decision-making and mechanics across different officials and games, which is vital for fairness and credibility in high-stakes environments.

Sometimes a "good fit" between a coach and an official may not be possible during a game.  If this occurs, honest feedback, delivered respectfully, can help officials refine. It’s not about pointing fingers—it’s about lifting each other up. As a result, we allow adjustments in an effort to provide the service you expect. If there are certain officials that you would prefer NOT to see, you can fill out the DING REQUEST for a future temporary change while the matter is investigated.
