eBBOA COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

COLLEGE Scholarship Program for Student Athletes

Overview:

The EBBOA firmly believes that high school athletics is a vital extension of the academic experience.  In support of that belief, the EBBOA sponsors an annual College Scholarship Program to reward student-athletes who succeed in the classroom while balancing a commitment to a basketball team.

Presently, the EBBOA College Scholarship Program is funded exclusively through donations from members of the EBBOA. Officials choose to donate game fees from 1-3 games worked during a season. EBBOA OFFICIALS can donate to the scholarship program by clicking on EBBOA SCHOLARSHIP DONATION. 100% of the funds are distributed to qualified applicants in the form of scholarships. The EBBOA covers all of the administrative expenses associated with running this program.

Individuals or corporations interested in donating to the program are welcome and encouraged to do so.  If you are interested in becoming a donor, please contact Brian Hudes, Director of EBBOA College Scholarship Program, at bhudes@ebboa.org.

Scholarships are awarded on annually. The EBBOA College Scholarship Program Selection Committee determines the amount of scholarships awarded each year based on the number of qualified applications received and the amount of funds donated.
